Their unforgettable performances will last for a lifetime. Fundraising for the American Cancer Society took our students to the New York Jet’s 40 yard line at the Meadowlands Stadium, performing a routine for their half-time show. The history of Queens Dance Academy strutting their stuff also led the students to be chosen to represent the United States by performing in Russia. Touring the cities of Moscow, Leningrad and Minsk, a two-week show tour resulted in an educational and cultural dance experience. Our studio has performed at such high profiled competitions such as: Tremaine - Starpower – Dance Educators of America – Starbound – New York Dance Festival – All American Talent – Starquest – Access Broadway – Dance Xplosion. These competitions brought our students all along the east coast bringing home overall high score awards, Best of the Best Awards, and scholarships. Students were also chosen to be part of the elite performance and dance in showcases. |
