Judy Cueva, founder and director of Queens Dance Academy Judy's dance career began at age three in a local dance studio under the direction of Joe Wilson. Her passion to dance and teach led the path to study under extraordinary teachers at the Ballet Academy in Queens, Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan and the National Association of Dance and Affiliated Artists. Judy continues her career by attending educational courses and seminars for dance educators. Queens Dance Academy opened their doors in 1979 creating a friendly atmosphere to all and provides a unique dance education to thousands of students. Having a long and distinguished history in the community of "27" years, our staff has been dedicated not only to teaching class, but also helping to instill values and a sense of responsibility into our students. Our policy of giving back to the community includes performing dance shows in a variety of venues such as:
